Trindel Increases Loss Prevention Presence In Member Counties (1/27/2012)
With the welcome addition of George Vondrak, Safety & Loss Prevention Analyst, Trindel Insurance Fund is increasing their safety and loss prevention services to Trindel member counties. Director of Loss Prevention Programs, Gene Herndon and George Vondrak will provide training, inspection, consultation, policy and program support monthly. This added presence continues to focus on Trindel Insurance Fund’s philosophy of: “The only way to control the cost of loss, is to prevent the loss in the first place”.

Cal OSHA Targets Heat Illness… Even in Dead of Winter! (1/27/2012)
While Heat Illness may seem a remote possibility in the dead of the winter, Cal OSHA inspectors are targeting your Heat Illness Prevention policy & practices anytime they happen to be in your county. Whatever the reason! The question you will hear is, “Can I see your Heat Illness Prevention Policy?” Failure to present proof of implementation of the policy and Heat Illness Prevention practices may result in a “Serious” Cal OSHA citation! Contact your DSR (Department Safety Representative) or County LPS (Loss Prevention Specialist) if you have any doubts about what your policy is.
