Leadership / Supervision
Training Program
Are you a supervisor? Do you aspire to be a manager maybe even
a department head? Are you currently a supervisor, manager,
department head? Being an effective leader and supervisor takes
skills and knowledge, tools that very few of us are born with.
Yet we often get promoted without those tools.
Trindel Insurance Fund has developed a program to help you
get those tools. Beginning in February of 2003 a program of
Leadership and Supervision training courses will be available
to every supervisor, first line to department head, of the
nine member counties of Trindel Insurance Fund, J.P.A. The
courses will be provided on site by California Community Colleges,
University of California - Davis, and private training providers.
The Leadership / Leadership Training Program courses will
be offered three times a year in each of the member counties
and are organized into four phases, basic to advanced covering
the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective leader
and supervisor.
